  • A Peek into CFO Transitions - We work extensively in the CFO & Financial Leadership hiring space and of late, we have noticed that the movements have picked up pace. Who are these CFOs that move? Where do they go? These and some of the other questions get answered as we probe the movement of over 200+ Finance Leaders in the Read More...

Topic 1: Why CFOs move?

In a recent article, we studied the trend in CFO transitions – and were surprised to note that less than 30% of CFOs are home-grown, and what’s more, nearly half of the Finance Leaders who have been hired, moved laterally (and not into a step-up role). Why would CFOs make this kind of a move?

This research probes, from those have made such transitions, the reasons why somebody would move laterally. What is the motivation driving someone to move?

If you are a CFO who switched jobs in the last 2 years, and if you are willing to spend 20 minutes completing an online survey, please drop us a mail by clicking here

Topic 2: How much should I get as a CFO?

A typical question, by almost every client, is about the appropriate compensation range for the CFO (and other senior members of the management team).

While we can answer this using our long experience in this space, we are endeavouring to develop an actual model to suggest the comp range, given experience, size of business, complexity, MNC/Indian and few other variables that are typically included while arriving at the compensation.

If you are a finance professional with more than 5 years of experience and if you are willing to spend 10 minutes completing an online survey which will ask questions around the comp and the structure, please drop us a mail by clicking here

Topic 3: Do leadership transitions work out?

The pace of transitions have picked up in the last 15 years, across levels, including the leadership levels. How often have these transitions worked out for those making these transitions? What was the motive for the transition in the first place and how did the reality pan out? Looking back, has the transition been a successful one? What could you (or the organization) have done different to make the transition successful?

These and other questions are the focus of our research here and is focussed on the individual (and not on the organization).

If you are at least at a VP level and switched jobs in the last 2 years, and if you are willing to spend at least 10-15 minutes on completing an online survey please drop us a mail by clicking here.
